Above a canopy bed a triple pendulum mechanism is mounted, generating the a seemlingly chaotic movement of a cultivation flask filled with bioluminescent bacteria diluted in seawater. To the spectator lying below, the movement seems random, but long-term exposure photography reveals an intricate pattern behind its chaotic appearance.
