“Das Fest” was a 4 day long fair at an abandoned amusement park in Berlin Plänterwald hosted by Berlins Hebbel Am Ufer theatre. Within the context of the fairs artistic programme the performance was conceptualised as a party, staged in the style of a traditional carnival with real people instead of actors. The piece thereby articulates the performativity of reality.
