Spring forward fall back

Implanting Life in the Lichthaus

furniture, Dreamcatcher, Flygate, insect lamp, foliage, soil, insects and plants

For seven weeks the artist creates an ecosystem, a living environment for both nature and himself. Situated around a metal canopy bed are various spots imitating the natural habitat of flies, bees, bugs and micro-organisms. The artist lives in the Lichthaus for a whole week alongside these biological co-authors of the artwork and then leaves it to its immanent auto-generative processes.
