A Virtual Reality Voyage through the Sky

VR-glasses, rendering computer

A Doom explores the potential of virtual reality in expanding the definition of sculpture. Suspended in mid-air, surrounded on all sides by the work, black condensation trails rush towards the viewer shaping an apocalyptic outlook in 360 degrees. The construction and deconstruction of those forms balance between strong abstraction and glimpses of realism, fuelling associations of meteorite-impacts and rocket flights, but overall using a reduced visual code of hard black and white tones.
